The Lewis Landlord 400S Backhoe has been designed for use with compact tractors of over 35hp.
A sideshift width of 1.6 metres allows for greater operator efficiency than a fixed pivot backhoe and means that the 400S is a very effective machine in all digging situations.
A well situated operator's seat and a digging depth of over 3 metres; combined with the benefits of hydraulic sideshift clamping and an independent hydraulic circuit; makes the 400S a very versatile machine.
Cushioning of the slew, boom and dipper rams allow accurate control of the backhoe.
